Shiggsy's Place was started for many reasons. The main one was that I couldn't find any sites dedicated to Nintendo development units. Of course there are other sites that include a few Nintendo dev kits, but none was dedicated to it, and none was updated regularly! I kept asking for more and more. I hope that many of you feel the same way and that this site will be your fix! :)

With that said, it's not easy to find and aquire every official Nintendo dev unit ever released (and it's far from cheap! :) so some pictures/info might come from visitors of the site sending stuff in. I will however try my best to get as much stuff as possible myself. I will also add 3rd party development units just to give you more stuff to read about. Please understand though, that the site will focus on official units and will therefore not strive to have a complete collection of these 3rd party products.

Something you have to understand is that this site is meant to be looked at in a humorous way and I write it as a parody of how sites like this are "supposed" to be made. I think some people have mistaken this and thought that I am a bizarre (peculiar, weird, odd) bloke that should be put in a mental institute. This is not the case.

Also, I must mention that the delightful logo (drawing of me ;) many of you love so much was made by Jack Ukleja. Thanks!
